Framed Greenstone Pendants

Greenstone or New Zealand Jade, known as Pounamu in the Maori language, is a much-prized stone, this hard Jade is found in the deep south of the South Island and was used by the ancient Maori to create fearsome weapons, tools and beautiful jewellery.

At Cameo Fine Arts, our carvers have created a range of traditional and modern Greenstone pendants to commemorate the Rugby World Cup.

These include the delicate Koru (fern) design, the entwined Double Twist, the long straight Kuru pendant, and the iconic Fishhook and Round and Oval pendant designs.
